ARCHITECT@WORK is thrilled to have principal Ben Waechter talk about his creative vision. Based in Portland, Oregon, Waechter’s eponymous studio was recently named one of North America’s most notable emerging practices, recognized for its visionary clarity and sensitivity to a given site. Among his best-known projects is Tower House, a family dwelling sited on a steep incline accessible via a 25-foot long bridge. His talk is presented by Azure magazine, which featured the firm’s Origami Townhouses in this year’s Annual Houses Issue.
