Tree of Light

The tree of life metaphor expresses the mystical concept that all forms are inter-connected.  Peter Wohlleben forester and researcher in his book, The Hidden Life of Trees states that trees are “social beings” communicating and protecting each other.  The tree is nature’s architectural masterpiece.  A combination of LED lights, recyclable backlit fabrics and aluminum branch structures – all support the consistent architectural trends of nature, sustainability and connectedness.

The Tree of Light multi-sensory sculpture presented by Wallumination will invite attendees to spend a restful moment gazing up at the tulip tree branches - a sure sign of Toronto spring to come.  We want to engage and open creators and builders to the design possibilities using fabric and light.
